These St Patrick’s Day 2D shape activities are the perfect way for your students to work on their 2d shape recognition skills. These task cards are an engaging and hands-on addition to your math centers and will give your students plenty of opportunity to work on recognising different 2D shapes and match them to a different image of the 2D shape. These task cards come in 2 different levels; Level 1 - matching identical 2D shape images Level 2 - match basic shapes to St Patrick’s 2D shape images. Each task card contains a shamrock or coin in the form of different 2d shapes. There are 13 different task cards/2D shapes included in each level = a total of 26 different task cards for you to use in your math centers. Students can either use a dry wipe pen or clothing peg to select their answer out of 2 (level 1) or 3 (level 2) options. Instructions • Print out each of the task cards. • Cut out and laminate the individual task cards. • Place these in your math center and have your students use a dry wipe pen or clothing peg to select their answer. ** The 2D shapes included are;** Circle Heart Diamond Hexagon Octagon Parallelogram Oval Pentagon Rhombus Star Square Triangle Rectangle These task cards fit perfectly into photo storage boxes - making it easy for you to stay organised and keep all the pieces together.

Get your students working on their sentence skills with these engaging and hands-on missing word in a sentence task cards. These task cards are the perfect addition to your literacy centers and St Patrick’s Day activities. Students need to read the sentence on the task card and then work out which of the 3 options of missing words fits in the sentence. This is a great way for you to work on sentence structure and how to build appropriate sentences with your students. Your students will love working on their sentence skills with these hands-on and engaging task cards. I highly recommend laminating each of the individual task cards so that they will be stronger, longer lasting and reusable in the future. There are 20 different task cards included, and all come in the theme of St Patrick’s Day. Instructions Print all of the pages included. Cut out and laminate each of the individual task cards. Lay the task cards out in your math centers and watch your students work on their sentence skills, identifying the missing words in the sentences. These task cards fit perfectly into photo storage boxes - making it easy for you to stay organised and keep all the pieces together.

Christmas Number Puzzles, Counting to 10

This Christmas themed activity is a great way for your students to work on their math, number, counting, fine motor and problem solving skills. As well as all these skills, this activity will provide your students with the opportunity to look at images of Christmas and use these as a talking point. The puzzles come in 3 different difficulty levels; • Level 1 - 0-3 • Level 2 - 0-5 • Level 3 - 0-10 There is a range of ways that these can be used in your classroom such as; • Print out the b/w puzzles, cut them up and hand them out to your students. Have your students put the puzzles together, sticking them onto a piece of paper/into their work book, then colour them in. • Print out the puzzles, cut them up and laminate them. Use them as a center activity where your students have to look at the numbers on the bottom of each puzzle piece, put them into numerical order to make the puzzle. • Print out two copies of each puzzle (one copy can be b/w), laminate one as a full puzzle (i recommend the b/w one) and then cut out the puzzle pieces on the other puzzle. Laminate the puzzle pieces. Have your students match the individual pieces onto the completed puzzle. This provides a lower ability option for students struggling. Instructions are also included on first pages of each PDF document. I would highly recommend laminating each of the individual task cards so that they will be stronger, therefore longer lasting. This is a great way to keep students motivated and engaged while working on their ten frame counting skills. Comes in both b/w and col option for your printing preference.
